With the signing of Reuben Reid apparently a done deal, Posh could be looking to bolster their attacking options by signing a striker from Charlton Athletic.
Sky Sports are reporting that Posh are interested in beating off any opposition from Hearts to sign Izale McLeod!
At twenty-five years of age, Izale has plenty of miles still left in the tank and any proposed move to London Road is boosted by a few words from his agent, Tony Finnigan, who has remarked,
‘I can confirm that Peterborough want Izale.’
‘He would be more than happy to go there and we are now waiting for the clubs to agree terms.’
We await an official announcement from the club then!
