It`s looking increasingly like that another of the dozen players to be released by Peterborough has found a new home.
Alfie Potter, famous for scoring a goal for Havant and Waterlooville in that monumental FA Cup clash with Liverpool, is interesting Oxford United.
The Blue Square Conference League Club are expressing interest in taking Alfie on a twelve month contract.
However, at the moment we believe they`d prefer a loan option.
Whether this fits in with the plans Posh had remains unclear. Our view is that Posh would prefer to accumulate a sum of cash, from the twelve, to use on bolstering the squad and that the deals relating to the dozen be permanently put to bed.
Nevertheless, if a loan deal is something Alfie would prefer then we`re quite sure Posh would compromise.
We`ll keep you informed.
