Peterborough United have announced their retained list following their defeat in the Play-Offs.

‘>Bobby Olejnik v Leyton Orient

Five first team members of the Posh squad have been released after deciding not to offer them new contracts.

Captain Tommy Rowe is one of the five but we already knew he was going to move on at the end of this season. The other four are midfielder Danny Kearns and defenders Nat Knight-Percival, Peter Grant and Craig Alcock.

Two of the more senior members of the squad have been offered new contracts. Defender Mark Little had one of his best seasons in a Posh shirt but will he look elsewhere first just as he did last season? Danny Swanson is the other player to be offered a new contract.

Nine players have all been placed on the transfer list (or remain on the transfer list in some cases) with the biggest shocker being goalkeeper Bobby Olejnik! He is entering the final year of his contract and has yet to agree terms of a new deal so under club policy, he now finds himself on the transfer list.

The other players on the transfer list are: Joe Day, Michael Richens, Shaun Brisley, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, Charlie Coulson, Kane Ferdinand, Tyrone Barnett and Nicky Ajose.
