5. Gabriel Zakuani
It should come as no surprise that Gaby Zakuani ran away with this poll for the left centre-back position.
Injured in one way or another throughout the whole of last season, Gaby battled the elements and went through the pain barrier to play in 43 matches for Posh last season.
A very popular figure, the #EverydayImTackling star has now been rewarded with the captains armband for the forthcoming season.
The fans favourite won multiple Player of the Season awards last season and is admired not just for his tireless determination on the pitch but his huge personality off it. He is also the Community Champion at Posh and does a lot of charity work including Tackle Africa.
