Posh – That Right Wing Dilemma (Again)

After a poor performance, from the team in general last weekend, the old dilemma about who should start on the right wing has reared it`s ugly head again.

I say again because we delved into this subject last weekend and we even ran a poll on it, nevertheless, the selection on that right side remains a very debatable subject.

Does Darren Ferguson go with Chris Whelpdale, does he go with Sergio Torres or does he go with Shaun Batt?

On the eve of the fixture, Darren, speaking to the local media, gave a few, but not many candid clues when he remarked,

‘I know in my own mind who I am going to pick on Saturday, but I am lucky to have three good options for that position on the right.

‘Chris is coming back from injury and we all know what he can do while Shaun has probably earned a run in the team with his performances when coming on lately.

‘Sergio hasn’t found the form we expected of him as yet but we know that he is a very good player with all the tricks in the world.’

Unfortunately, no mention of Shaun so is it a straight fight between Sergio and Chris, or is Shaun the wildcard, your thoughts please?

Perhaps you might like to take into account some further quotes from Darren, who then went on to say,

‘Sergio missed pre-season after having an operation and he has had a couple of knocks since he has been here as well.

‘It is already December and I haven’t been able to give him any sort of number of games, but sometimes you just have to be patient.’

I`m blessed if I know!
