It seems that not even having your pitch covered with protection able to resist temperature of minus five is enough.
Up at Prenton Park, as we told you yesterday, a pitch inspection was scheduled to be carried out at 14:30 hours this afternoon.
Unfortunately, the inspection proved what many suspected, namely that there will be no football for us Posh fans this weekend.
The game was duly postponed and now Posh face something of a fixture backlog after having had a second game in less than a week postponed.
What will we all do tomorrow?
