What do you think the score will be between Peterborough United and Brentford in the Sky Bet League One on Saturday?

Peterborough United v Brentford
Location: London Road
Date: 1st January, 2014
Kick-off: 15:00pm

Brentford Home

Posh host the form team and new League One leaders Brentford in the first League One match at London Road in 2014.

The New Years Day match will see Posh take on Brentford for the third time this season with both sides having won their home games against the other.

Posh have only won two of their last eleven League matches with seven of those matches ending in defeat. Form which is seriously hampering the chances of automatic promotion and could spell disaster for the play-offs if it continues.

Britt Assombalonga is still Posh`s leading marksman with 17 goals this season with Lee Tomlin close to double figures on 9 goals.

After going so closely to automatic promotion last season, Brentford have got over the disappointment and are showing the form that nearly got them promoted. They now sit top of League One after going on a 12 match unbeaten run. A run that has included 11 wins! The only time they`ve dropped points during that run is when they were held to a goalless draw at Wolves.

Clayton Donaldson is the top scorer for the Bees with 12 goals while Marcello Trotta is second with 7 goals.

Everything is pointing to a Bees win especially with the suspension of the influential Lee Tomlin.

What do you think the score will be on New Year`s Day?

Cast your vote below and we will let you know on Wednesday what the outcome was.
