After winning the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, Posh will be hoping that it kick-starts their promotion push with Colchester United first in their way.
Posh had a disappointing March losing five of their seven League matches while winning just two. Their last outing at London Road ended in a narrow 1-0 defeat to fellow play-off rivals Rotherham United.
The U`s are languishing in 18th place just three points above the relegation places and will be desperate to do the double over Posh after winning 1-0 at the Weston Homes Community Stadium back in October.
Colchester played nine matches in February winning two of them, drawing two and losing five! They`ve lost their last two matches which both came away from home. The latest defeat was at the hands of Notts County who, at the time, were joint bottom of League One.
Can the U`s do the double or will the JPT Final win boost the confidence in the Posh ranks to get the victory they want to keep them in the play-offs?
