What did you think to referee Eddie Ilderton`s performance in the Sky Bet League One match between Blackpool and Peterborough United?
From this performance by Tyne and Wear based referee Eddie Ilderon, you can understand why he is rarely given above League One. He made so many incorrect decisions for example he gave a number of corners when they should`ve been goal kicks and throw-ins the wrong way!
Those incorrect examples didn`t affect the result of the match but another incoreect decision did prove costly for Posh once again. It wasn`t a Posh goal ruled out incorrectly this time but the equaliser from Blackpool which saw Tangerines striker Nathan Delfouneso bundle the ball into the net using his arm before sheepishly looking at both the referee and his assistant before realising he has somehow got away with it!
Two yellow cards were issued by Ilderton with both sides picking up one each.
