Posh bring the curtain down at the ABAX Stadium this afternoon as they host Bristol Rovers in League One.
The Pirates, who achieved automatic promotion from League Two last season, are still within touching distance of the League One play-offs. Anything less than a victory over Posh will blow their chances of achieving back-to-back promotions though.
Posh have been out of the play-off hunt for quite a few weeks but they`ve been looking ahead to next season by playing a number of teenagers to see how they cope. Lewis Freestone and Andrea Borg, both 17 years old, have been in the matchday squad for the last two matches with the former playing both matches. Callum Chettle, who is slightly older (20), has been around the first team squad all season without making many appearances but has also featured in the last two matches and can expect to retain his place again against the Pirates.
With Posh looking to next season and Rovers still chasing the play-offs, the match could be an intriguing affair with players on both sides wanting to impress but it is the play-off chasing side that Sky Bet believe will win the tussle. The Pirates are 13/10 to beat Posh with Posh priced at 19/10. The draw priced at 13/5.
