The Football League have finally given in and agreed to introduce the vanishing spray. They also announced details of the final League matches this season and start date for next season.
Following a successful introduction at the World Cup and in the Premiership from the start of this season, the Football League have announced that vanishing spray will be used in the Championship and Leagues One and Two from 1st January 2015.
Teams in League One and Two have already encountered the spray in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy but it will now be used in all competitions.
Along with this news came details of the final of when the final round of League matches will take place:
? Championship matches will begin at 12:15 BST on Saturday 2nd May 2015;
? League Two will take place on the same day but kick off at 3pm;
? League One matches will take place on Sunday 3rd May 2015 at 12:15 BST.
Posh face a trip to Oldham Athletic on the last day of the season.
The final piece of news advised of the start date of the 2015/16 season. This will begin on the weekend of 8th and 9th August 2015.
