The Vital Posh Man of the Match Poll for the Sky Bet League One match at Doncaster Rovers is now up and running.
In front of a massive 2,329 travelling Posh fans, Dave Robertson`s men put in another good performance and again got the rewards for their hard work.
Posh played well in the first half and got their noses in front of their play-off rivals when an excellent cross from Jon Taylor was met by the diving Luke James who scored his first ever League goal for Posh.
The second half was a completely different story as the hosts changed their formation and had the majority of the possession but Posh put in a back against the wall display to snuff out Rovers.
Every Posh player were a credit to the club but we have to credit Ben Alnwick. At one-nil up, he made an outstanding save to keep Posh in the lead and after not being at his best for the last few months, he was certainly busy in this match and stood up very well.
The win saw Posh move up one place again to 7th place. They are still level on points with sixth place which is now occupied by Barnsley. Doncaster Rovers drop down from sixth place to 10th.
