Rate the Peterborough United players as the Vital Posh Man of the Match Poll for the Sky Bet EFL League One match against Oxford United is now up and running.

Posh did well in short spells in this match and surprisingly had 18 shots but once again they fell short of what is needed as they succumbed to their third defeat on the bounce.

Posh are now in 12th place in League One and you have to say there is only one direction they`re heading as the season peters out once again!

Simply put, Posh do not have the quality up front to convert possession and chances into goals and too few creative players. Tom Nichols may be our top scorer this season but if we had anyone half-decent, they`d have got 20 goals by now!

Grant McCann was naïve in bringing on Harry Anderson for his first appearance of the season as a replacement for the injured right-back Michael Smith. Anderson was lost in that position, a position McCann fully expected him to play in comfortably! On this performance, that couldn`t be further from the truth!

Also, why keep Leo Da Silva Lopes on the pitch when he was booked early on and we had players on the pitch that could take his place? The decision to keep him on backfired as Lopes made a pathetic attempt to tackle an Oxford player only to scythe him down to earn a second yellow card of the game and his first ever red card in the professional game!

What did you think to the performances of the Posh players and Grant McCann?

Rate the players below and the player with the best rating will win the Man of the Match.
