The Vital Posh Man of the Match Poll for the Sky Bet League One match against Southend United is now up and running.

Chris Forrester takes a 97th minute penalty which was saved by the Southend goalkeeper

What a drab match this was to watch! You could see from very early in the match that Southend were there for the draw and they got what they came for.

With 10 or sometimes all 11 men behind the ball at times, Posh just didn`t know what to do! A number of players were out of form in this match as well although the most notable ones under-performing in this match all remained on the pitch.

Erhun Oztumer, Martin Samuelsen and Conor Washington have all had much better times on the football pitch but it just wasn`t their day against the Shrimpers. You could argue that they could have one moment of inspiration that wins the game for you but when so many of them aren`t playing to their potential then you must surely consider taking them off instead of players who are trying and playing well, as was the case of Lee Angol!

The draw saw Posh remain in sixth place but they are now seven points behind Wigan Athletic and Coventry City who are directly above them although Posh do have a game in hand on the pair. Posh are now just one point ahead of the chasing pack after the Blades won their match although the Shrimpers, obviously, remain three points behind Posh after this draw. Millwall are also expected to be just a point behind Posh as they were leading Port Vale three-nil at half-time in their clash on Sunday afternoon.

What did you think to the performances of the Posh players and Graham Westley?
