The Vital Posh Man of the Match Poll is now up and running for the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy Final between Chesterfield and Peterborough United.

Tommy Rowe lifts Johnstones Paint Trophy

Posh finally won their first non-Play Off trophy under the reign of Darragh MacAnthony`s ownership and in a fairly even match, it was the clinical finishing of Posh that was ultimately the difference between the two sides.

Posh and Chesterfield are both aiming for promotion out of their respective leagues and played an open, attacking match.

Posh were restricted in personnel choices through player departures during the season while other players were cup-tied but that didn`t stop those players who did get the nod to play well.

Josh McQuoid put in arguably his best performance in a Posh shirt while defender Shaun Brisley finally got his first official Posh after having a number of other goals chalked out incorrectly this season.

There were mixed reactions over the performance of Joe Newell. Some thought he did well while others thought completely the opposite although everyone is in agreement that he acted stupidly to get sent off despite being stamped on!

Lloyd Isgrove also gave another impressive cameo appearance at the end as he ran his socks off for the 12 minutes he was on the pitch.

What did you think to the overall performances of the players and manager Darren Ferguson?

Rate the players below and the player with the best rating will win the Man of the Match.

The poll is open until noon on Sunday [6th April].
