The Vital Posh Man of the Match Poll is now up and running for the Sky Bet League One match between Walsall and Peterborough United.

Bobby Olejnik penalty save v Walsall

Posh were a poor second in this match against Walsall as tactics, poor performances and a stupid substitution when Posh went down to 10-men culminated in a 2-0 defeat.

In truth Posh were lucky not to lose by more than the two goals as Walsall created numerous chances while Posh also presented them with at least two one-on-one chances!

Kgosi Ntlhe was rightfully substituted at half time as he failed yet again to impress while Michael Bostwick also had an unusually poor performance as he was nowhere to be seen for the first goal and lost his man at a corner for the second goal!

Another defender had a game to forget as he received two yellow cards! Shaun Brisley had excelled in a back three but as soon as we switched to a back four, he struggled as he always does and it culminated in the red card.

Loanee Hogan Ephraim started his Posh career brightly but in the two games since then, he has been poor and offers nothing more than what we already have.

The front partnership of Assombalonga and Mendez-Laing failed to spark again as Mendez-Laing again proved that he is better coming off the bench than he is starting matches.

Fergie made a strange substitution late on in the game when taking Assombalonga off and replace him with defender Gaby Zakuani when two goals down!! It smacks of a lack of ambition by Fergie as he tries to keep a 2-0 defeat rather than trying to reduce the arrears!

Only goalkeeper Bobby Olejnik can come out of this with any sort of credit as Posh were yet again beaten by a better team.

What did you think to the players performance?

Rate the players below and the player with the best rating will win the Man of the Match.

The poll is open until noon on Sunday [24th November].
