Who has won the latest Posh Player of the Month poll?
After an excellent first month to the season in which Posh sat proudly on top of League One, they`ve had a mixed bag of results in September.
The month started off badly when Posh slipped out of the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy at the first attempt but then went on to win two League matches, losing two and drawing one. Those results saw Posh drop from the top spot to second place although there are a number of clubs who could overtake Posh once they play their game in hand.
The injury situation has continued to cause problems with team selection as it`s been a case of picking whoever was fit at times. Nineteen different players played in one or more matches during September; that number is less than the number of players that played in August though (22).
In the League, Posh scored six goals, kept a clean sheet twice and conceded four goals in their five matches.
Five different players got their name on the scoresheet during the month with Marcus Maddison topping the scoring in the month with two goals!
So who came out on top of the monthly voting?
