Posh take the long road to the south-west this weekend to take Yeovil.

It`s a testing fixture and one that will give us further indication of whether our promotion aspirations for this season are realistic.

With Posh on a good unbeaten run we, here at Vital Posh, are hoping that the confidence is high enough to at least secure a point, but hopefully three, on this difficult trip.

After the scrap with AFC Hornchurch last weekend, whereby we narrowly scraped through against the gallant part-timers, Darren Ferguson will not, we assume, be taking any chances with his selection policy.

There`ll be no resting of Craig Mackail-Smith, he`ll be on from the start as Ferguson looks towards his talented trio of Mackail-Smith, McLean and Boyd to open up the Yeovil defence.

Last weekend Charlie Lee was unavailable for selection due to a one game suspension, Lee will come right back into the fray but another absentee last week, Chris Whelpdale, is still out and it is very likely that his place will go to the talented Sergio Torres.

As for Yeovil, our friends over at Vital Yeovil are predicting that their side will line up as follows – Wagenaar, Peltier, Owen, Skiverton, Smith, Downes, Way, Roberts, Schofield, Noel-Williams and Warne and are also informing us that Brown, Alcock and Bircham will all be missing.

So are we brave enough to give a prediction? Off course we are. The Vital Posh crystal ball was plucked from the cupboard this morning and once the mist had parted we could see smiles from the Posh camp signifying a win, possibly by the odd goal in three!
