In an impromptu Twitter question and answer session by Darragh MacAnthony on Wednesday [16th May], the Peterborough United Chairman admitted the club were looking at players north of the border.

It has since come to light that one player we could be looking at is 23-year-old Scott Fraser who currently plays for Dundee United.

Since the Tangerines lost in the Scottish Championship play-off semi-final to Livingston, clubs have been circling with the Scottish Sun reporting that Scottish Premiership side Hearts and rival League One club Blackpool are also keen to sign the midfielder.

Fraser is a one club man having graduated through their youth system. He went on loan to Airdrieonians early in his career but after an impressive spell there, he has been a regular for Dundee United.

His contract expired at the end of this season so he would be available on a free transfer! Could Posh make it three out of three with signing players on a free transfer?
