Football League sponsors Sky Bet make League One leaders Brentford the clear favourites to beat Peterborough United at London Road.
With eleven wins out of the last twelve league matches, it is understandable that the bookies think Brentford will continue their very impressive form especially when Posh have only won two of their last eleven league matches!
The Bees were so close to automatic promotion last season and despite a change in manager midway through the first half of this season, they`ve gone from strength to strength. They now sit proudly top of the league after overcoming Leyton Orient and Wolves who have dominated the top two places for the majority of this season.
After a storming start to the season Posh have tailed off badly but are still clinging to a play-off place. Two wins in eleven is more relegation form than promotion form but the turmoil looks like continuing as Posh expect a number of first team players to leave during January with new players coming in.
The first team squad looks unsettled which won`t help when they face a rampant Brentford side. Posh will certainly need to be at their best but no-one has shown any consistency while Darren Ferguson doesn`t seem to know his best starting eleven to fit into his diamond formation!

Marcello Trotta is the second favourite Brentford player to score the first goal of the game at 6/1 while he`s 7/4 to score during the match.
