The Football League Sponsor Sky Bet make Sheffield United easy favourites to beat play-off chasing Peterborough United.

Sheff Utd Away

Sheffield United -Vs- Peterborough United
Venue: Bramall Lane
Date: Tuesday, 4th March, 2014
Kick-off: 19:30pm

The Blades are on an amazing run of results having lost just two matches out of their last 20! Nigel Clough has transformed his team from a relegation threatened side into a side making a late charge for the play-offs!

Posh are still lacking the spark they had at the start of the season but they did enjoy an undefeated February before losing narrowly last weekend at Crawley Town.

With the form the Blades are in, Sky Bet make them clear favourites priced at 6/5 while they have a Posh win at 9/4 and the draw at 12/5.

Sheffield don`t have a prolific scorer in their ranks but they do spread the goals around. Chris Porter is their leading scorer with eight goals and he is the favourite player to score the first goal of the match at 5/1. He is priced at 11/8 to score anytime during the match. Jose Baxter is the second favourite to score the first goal, priced at 6/1, which would to his six goals this season. If anyone is interested in putting a bet on former Posh target Stefan Scougall, who has two goals to his name this season, they can get odds of 14/1 to score the first goal of the match or 5/1 to score during the 90 minutes.

For Posh, it`s their striking duo of Britt Assombalonga and Nicky Ajose who are joint favourite for Posh to score the first goal of the game at 6/1 while they are 7/4 to score at any time in the match. Assombalonga has 24 goals to his name this season while Ajose has 16.

Despite the Blades being favourites to win this tie, the lowest correct score odds have a 1-1 draw as the favourite priced at 5/1!

A Blades 1-0 win has the next lowest odds of 13/2 with 2-1 priced at 8/1.

For Posh, the lowest odds offered for a win is 17/2 for a 1-0 win with a 2-1 win the next lowest priced at 10/1.

The top four predictions in the poll being run by Vital Posh are for victories to the home side but the current favourite prediction is 2-0. The other three favourite predictions are 2-1, 1-0 and 3-0 wins for the Blades.
