Peterborough United head back on the road looking to make it four away wins out of four as they travel to Gillingham who are unbeaten at home in the League this season.

Gillingham Away

Gillingham -Vs- Peterborough United
Venue: Priestfield Stadium
Date: Tuesday, 16th September, 2014
Kick-off: 19:45pm

Gillingham

Gillingham have a major doubt with their top scorer Danny Kedwell who is suffering from a knee injury. If he continues to struggle, he may need a small cartilage operation but he is rated as 50/50 for this evenings match. Goalkeeper Stuart Nelson has a thumb injury and is expected to be out for at least another month.

Defender Gavin Hoyte will also be missing from the match as he serves the final match of his three-game ban.

Manager Peter Taylor could welcome back Doug Loft after he recovered from an achilles injury and has hinted at changes from the goalless draw at the weekend at Oldham Athletic.

Peterborough United

For Posh, Kgosi Ntlhe could again be missing from the squad as he struggles to recover from a groin injury. Erhum Oztumer and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing are both a couple of weeks away from fitness while utility player Michael Bostwick will be out for at least another three weeks!

Jon Taylor didn`t suffer a reaction to his recent injury after returning for the goalless draw at the weekend and will once again line-up on the wing.

Teenagers Ricardo Santos and Jermaine Anderson both looked tired in that match and were substituted. Darren Ferguson will decide whether to give the youngsters a rest nearer the time. Kane Ferdinand could fill in for either player while Grant McCann has been getting splinters on the bench in recent weeks and would be hoping to partner former Gills player and current Posh captain Jack Payne in the centre of midfield.

Fergie will also have to decide which of his three strikers will start the match. Conor Washington suffered from cramp in the weekend match with Notts County but is fit for tonight but will he keep his place? Did Luke James do enough when he came on to convince Fergie he should get a starting position or should top scorer Kyle Vassell get one of the two strikers positions?
