Shaq Coulthirst has finally parted company with Peterborough United by mutual consent.
Striker Shaq Coulthirst has brought his career at the ABAX Stadium to an end after agreeing to terminate his contract with Posh.
The 22-year-old Londoner signed for Posh from Tottenham Hotspur in January 2016 on a three-and-a-half year contract. He struggled to make an impact at Posh scoring just four goals in 35 appearances at the club.
Mansfield Town took Coulthirst on loan last season and there had been interest north of the border during pre-season but nothing came of that which comes as little surprise as he originally thought Mansfield was too far north for him!!
At the end of last season, Coulthirst was one of a number of Posh players who were told to find a new club. Adil Nabi and Jordan Nicholson are two of those who are still to depart the club!
Since agreeing to terminate his contract, Coulthirst has returned to his London base to sign for Barnet, who Posh face in the Caraboa Cup (League Cup) on Tuesday, 8th August.
