Football League sponsors Sky Bet have installed Scunthorpe United as favourites to beat Peterborough United in today`s EFL League One clash.

Venue: Glanford Park
Date: Saturday, 21st October, 2017
Kick-off: 15:00pm

Both Scunthorpe and Posh are on a run of poor results and although they both picked up a point each on Tuesday evening when both sides drew one-all, the Football League sponsors Sky Bet believe the Iron will easily beat Posh!

The Iron, who sit in 12th place on 20 points, have only won two of their seven home League matches while losing two of those matches as well.

Posh have a similar record away from home with two wins from six League matches, both of which came in their first two matches! Since then, they`ve drawn three away League matches while losing just one match at Oldham Athletic (3-2).

Last season, the Iron had the better of Posh when picking up four of the six available points. They won two-nil at the ABAX Stadium before being held to a one-all draw in the corresponding fixture in January.

Is it that record last season that the bookies are looking at as surely the odds should be much closer based on current form and results so far this season?

Sky Bet have odds of 23/20 for the Iron to win the match with Posh at odds of 2/1. The draw is priced at 11/4.
