Peterborough United have announced the ticket price for the second round of the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy against Brentford. It will cost just a fiver!
Peterborough United host League One rivals Brentford in the second round of the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy on Tuesday 8th October. The match will kick-off at 7:30pm and it will cost just £5 to get in.
The single price covers everyone in all areas of the stadium.
It is hoped the low price will attract a good crowd to the match.
Posh Chairman Darragh MacAnthony is hoping the ticket pricing will be welcome by both sets of fans as he said: “Hope Posh and Brentford fans are happy with my fiver deal for JPT tie. Should be a decent game. Tie of the round and should have been the TV game!!”
Captain Tommy Rowe is also hoping the cheap ticket price will boost the attendance: “The lads know that to play at Wembley is a great incentive and we are all determined to give this competition a good go this year. Brentford is a tough second round tie, but we know that a good crowd can help us.
“The supporters have been first class so far this season and I am sure they will turn out in good numbers for this tie,” Rowe said.
