Lincoln City have finally signed Peterborough United winger Harry Anderson.
Harry Anderson has finally converted the loan he had at Lincoln City last season into a permanent deal.
Posh had previously turned down a low offer for the winger from the Imps whilst awarding the 20-year-old a two-year extension to his contract.
Anderson missed the first couple of pre-season matches for Posh due to injury but played in the last two against Championship sides QPR and Ipswich Town. With Posh playing with three at the back with wing-backs, Anderson was faced with learning how to play as a wing-back.
Admittedly he wasn`t very good at the defensive side of the role but he did show potential in the offensive side. It was only the odd glimpse that he showed that potential and while he could turn out to be a decent winger in a few years` time, Posh need players that are ready now.
With an improved offer being received from the Imps, Posh allowed Anderson to discuss terms which were done quickly.
Many Imps fans are delighted with this signing with some saying that he was the one player they wanted their side to sign! He obviously impressed them a lot in the National League last season.
