From Vital Oldham:

Latics’ unbeaten start to League One was ended at London Road this weekend by the side that could very well go on to win this league if they carry on putting in performances like they did on Saturday.

All was looking well for Paul Dickov and his side, Ritchie Jones and Chris Taylor had both found the net by the 38th minute and the away fans started dreaming about grabbing all three points.

But before the break a mistake in the defence saw Posh pull a goal back and this seemed to shake up Latics who just got worse from then on in.

More mistakes in the second half and goals from Aaron Mclean and George Boyd putting them ahead.

David Hibbert killed the game off when he headed home eight minutes before the end and then Grant McCann fired home number five from the penalty spot in stoppage time after Reuben Hazell fouled Boyd.
