I`d like to claim some credit for the fact that Craig Mackail-Smith has been dispatched to Old Trafford for some medical tests.
After all, it was only yesterday, in another article that I quizzed why Posh had taken this opportunity to get to the bottom of why Mackail-Smith has been hampered with this apparent problem for such a long time.
However, I`ll concede that it was probably a family discussion between father and son that has seen our top scorer, in the last two seasons, sent to Old Trafford for tests.
Seemingly, the medical staff, as you`d probably expect, have access to superior equipment and are able to assess the results of such tests much quicker.
Indeed, the good news is that the rumour-mill is already suggesting that the United medical staff have seemingly found the root cause of the problem.
Let`s hope they send him back fixed, cured and ready for action!
