Vital Posh looks at the form of both Peterborough United and Dagenham & Redbridge ahead of the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy Quarter-Final clash at London Road.
Peterborough United -Vs- Dagenham and Redbridge
Venue: London Road
Date: 12th November, 2013
Kick-off: 19:30pm
Posh got back to winning ways at the weekend when defeating Exeter City 2-0 in the FA Cup while the Daggers went down 3-0 in the Cup on Saturday and will be looking to bounce back.
Posh are keen to do well in the Cup competitions but the JP Trophy offers them the best chance of getting to a final.
Peterborough United
After starting the season off in the same way they`d competed in the latter half of last season, Posh have seen their form take a massive dip in recent weeks which culminated in a draw and two defeats prior to the weekend Cup match.
Britt Assombalonga [pictured above] had gone nine matches without scoring but broke the deadlock on Saturday when scoring from two yards – although he did try to put the ball over the bar!!
Tyrone Barnett and the suspended Lee Tomlin are now two goals behind Assombalonga.

Dagenham and Redbridge
The Daggers are the second League Two side to visit London Road in the space of three days.
Dagenham currently sit in 11th place in League Two but the top of the division is so tight they are actually just three points from second place! They`re on a two-match losing streak at present following their 3-0 defeat in the FA Cup to Bristol City and the 2-1 defeat at Hartlepool United.
The Daggers have won just three away matches out of eleven this season with all the wins coming in October. One of the victories was in the last round of the JP Trophy when they won 5-2 at Southend.
Rhys Murphy is leading the scoring charts with 8 goals this season having scored double the amount of goals of Abu Ogogo. Zavon Hines is one further behind with 3 goals.
