Peterborough United have turned down bids for a number of transfer listed players but are hopeful suitable bids will soon be received.

Has a bid been received for Tyrone Barnett

Posh placed nine players on the transfer list at the end of last season and although none of them have left yet, the club are confident that some of them will soon depart London Road.

Darragh MacAnthony has confirmed that Posh have turned down offers by multiple teams for four players in the last week and with the start of the season nearly upon us, the club expect further bids to come in for the transfer listed players.

Darren Ferguson would be keen to move these players on as he wants to have a first team squad of around 20 players. This number currently stands at around 26 following the capture of Kenny McEvoy and Michael Smith in the last 24 hours.

The nine players on the transfer list are Bobby Olejnik, who kept 22 clean sheets last season, Joe Day, Nicky Ajose, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, Charlie Coulson, Michael Richens, Kane Ferdinand, Tyrone Barnett and Shaun Brisley.
