Posh travel north for a difficult FA Cup replay against Tranmere Rovers on Tuesday evening.

After drawing 1-1 at London Road Posh know they have it all to do. Many pundits thought the visitors deserved to edge through at London Road and Tranmere will be keen to make sure it is them that play West Bromwich Albion in a prestigious third round tie.

History still favours us though as Tranmere have yet to beat us in five FA Cup meetings but then again I suppose records like this are there to be broken.

For the trip north Darren Ferguson will be without the injured Day, Blackett and Martin.

However, he will, hopefully, be welcoming Sergio Torres back to the squad after he missed the trip to Stockport on Saturday.

With Martin not fit Ferguson may well decide to play Chris Whelpdale at the back. Shaun Batt will probably start on the right side of midfield with either Paul Coutts or Charlie Lee replacing the cup-tied Andrew Crofts.

Here at Vital Posh we feel that if we can maintain the form we displayed on Saturday it`ll be us facing West Brom, if not we may well be bidding adios to our cup aspirations this year.
