If, heaven forbid, we do go down I`m going to compile a list of those, within the game, who predicted we were too good to do so.
The latest to do so is Ron Atkinson!
Big-Ron, speaking to the local radio station has muttered,
“If they manage to get bedded down and get used to playing in the Championship, they will be fine.”
“But the all important thing is that they survive this season.”
“I saw them play against West Brom in the FA Cup last year and I`ve always felt they would be able to step up – they just need time.”
Nothing too sensational from the ex-television pundit but let`s hope this thing called time doesn`t run out!
