The transfer window can throw up some strange stories.
There we were a few weeks ago writing about the fact our transfer listed defender Shane Blackett had turned down the chance to play for Luton Town preferring instead to seek out employment in league football.
It now turns out that Mick Harford has enticed the defender to Kenilworth Road and that Shane has put pen to paper on a two year deal.
Shane joins a growing contingent of ex-Posh players now playing for the Bedfordshire club – Tyler, Hatch and Newton – and we`d like to take this opportunity to wish him well.
