The loss to Leicester has placed an added significance on the Boxing Day clash with Millwall.

Whilst it always promised to be a vociferous and volatile affair, we now have to accept that if our automatic promotion hopes are not to fade away over the festive period it is a game we must win. A loss is simply unthinkable whilst a draw would give the top two of Leicester and MK Dons the chance to open up a gap between themselves and the rest.

On paper, we could perhaps have wished for easier opposition. After suffering a heavy defeat like we did, moral is often restored with a victory over lesser opposition; however, in a strange way facing Millwall gives Posh the chance to resurrect their dreams.

The London side are flying and look to be a decent outfit and will pose a considerable threat, so what better way of making a significant mark and show our intentions by registering a win before we all head off to Cheltenham!

Come on Posh, you know you can do it.
