Posh – Fergie Job in Jeopardy?

Picking up the tabloids this morning you cannot help but notice the sensational headline at the top of the back page on the Daily Mirror.

It broadly proclaims that Darren Ferguson could be in his last hours as manager of Peterborough United following a hastily arranged summit meeting last night.

The tabloid goes on to imply that the meeting was called as Darragh MacAnthony seeks to keep his dream alive of Posh progressing through the leagues rather than plummet back into League One.

If these thoughts were triggered by the 2-1 defeat to Barnsley, a result which has seen Posh slip to joint bottom of the Championship then considering Darragh has implied that football is a results game then Darren could be struggling.

However, here at Vital Posh, we`d hope that after leading Posh to back-to-back promotions Darren is shown a bit of loyalty after all who else is there out there to step into the fold?

One rash decision could have serious ramifications, please think carefully before seeking change!
