After securing promotion it`s perhaps inevitable that the squad has to be reshaped.

Players that were on the fringe of things in League One will not be considered good enough if Posh want to push onwards and upwards.

There`ll be casualties as well as new signings.

Our manager, Darren Ferguson, is, according to reports in the local media, due to resume his managerial duties after taking a weeks` compassionate leave after the dreadful events of last week.

It is thought that those who will be allowed to leave will include Mark Tyler, Scott Rendell, Liam Hatch and Rene Howe, all of whom spent periods of last season out on loan.

Others likely to not be seen at London Road next season include Craig Braham Barrett and Kwesi Appiah.

Sadly, a sad, but necessary, fact of life as you plough through the divisions.
