The loss of two influential players last night tainted the fact that Posh, finally, took all three points.
With Gabriel Zakuani being carried away on a stretcher and Lee Frecklington limping off with a hamstring strain, Darren Ferguson finds his squad stretched to the limit again.
However, despite the concern over Zakuani and the fact he was rushed to hospital for immediate scans, it transpires the news isn`t as bad as was perhaps anticipated.
Scans and x-rays showed that there were no fractures and that Zakuani should be fit to return to first team action in as little as two weeks.
As for Lee Frecklington, the prognosis isn`t so good. Our new signing from Lincoln has a hamstring problem and he could be absent from first team duty for three to four weeks.
