Tomorrow, Dean Keates hopes to face his former club, Walsall, again!

Keates has fond memories of his time at the Bescott and talks glowingly of the ovation the Walsall supporters gave him when he turned up there in a Posh shirt.

Talking about that day, he had this to say to a local paper,

‘It was a great feeling. I did have nine-and-a-half superb years there, but you never know what’s going to happen when you go back.”

‘When I left Walsall, the club put out a bit of a smokescreen saying I’d gone because I was getting big money which was nonsense. The sums they were talking about were the equivalent of good Championship wages and I’m not getting that.”

‘I moved to Peterborough because they had serious ambition and they were clearly a club going places. We’re only halfway through this season, but it looks like I might be right.”

‘And the Walsall fans clearly didn’t have a problem with me. The reception they gave me earlier this season was just unbelievable.’

Seeing as it`s almost traditional for former players to score against former clubs, would it be too much to hope for Keates to get on the score sheet tomorrow?
