It wasn`t until I read the local media that I realised I should have cared who won the Conference Play-Off Final yesterday!
In the event, it was won 2-0 by Torquay United, no doubt Helen Chamberlain will be dancing with delight, as Cambridge failed to capitalize on some decent possession.
But, the crux of the matter is that a Cambridge win would have given Posh a little windfall.
Seemingly, if Cambridge made it to the Football League the Scott Rendell loan deal would have seen Posh receive a cash windfall.
Damn, they always let you down when you least want them to don`t some people?
