The buoyant scenes that greeted the win on Saturday, over Reading, will hopefully kick stat our season.

It`s taken Posh eight games to get that first win in the Championship but in all honesty we`ve never been seriously out-played by any of those we`ve already played.

Darren Ferguson remained brave and stuck with those who have been unlucky this season, none more so than Craig Mackail-Smith who has seen three goals wiped out already.

On Saturday, Craig got on the score sheet and gave a display that made him a worthy winner of several man-of-the-match awards, his work-rate was awesome and after the game he had a few brief words for the local media remarking,

“I was just enjoying myself.”

“It was an unbelievable second half. I can`t explain the first. Missed George`s winner, but I was too knackered to go and celebrate with him. The whole team were outstanding and hopefully now we`ll go on a run.”

It`s that word run again! But what does constitute a run? Three, four or five victories on the trot?
