Posh – MK Dons Slip Up Again!

Last night, sat in front of the television, I switched channels when it was announced that the MK Dons were 2-0 up against Crewe and it wasn`t even half time.

I assumed that Roberto Di Matteo`s side would go on to take the three points on offer quite easily.

Therefore, when switching back to see the final scores, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Crewe had mounted a spirited fight back and had snatched a 2-2 draw with two late goals.

The draw means that the MK Dons are now six points behind us and have only one game in hand. Crucially, they`re on a poor run of form that has seen them win only once in their last eight games.

Effectively, if we keep our cool, the threat from MK Dons has diminished and now, if we hope to secure that second automatic promotion spot, our closest rivals could well be Millwall.

It`s already pointing to Easter Monday, and our trip to the New Den, as being a crucial six-pointer!

With seven games to go, things are truly livening up.

Come on Posh!
