Peterborough United are slight favourites to beat Bristol City in today`s Sky Bet League One match.

Bristol City haven`t had the start to the season they had hoped and sit just outside the relegation places with three points! Despite having only three points, they have been very hard to beat and they have won all three cup matches they`ve played in this season.

After winning their first four matches, Posh have come unstuck with a defeat to Crawley Town and then snatching a draw at the death of their match at Crewe Alexandra last week. Posh sit in 3rd place but the top two sides both have a game in hand on all the teams in the top half of the table!

There is very little to choose between Bristol City and Posh and Sky Bet are reflecting that in their odds. The Football League sponsors have Posh as slight favourites to win this match and are priced at 11/8. City are 9/5 to win with the draw priced at 5/2.

The correct score odds have a 1-1 draw as the lowest odds at 13/2. The lowest odds for a Bristol win is 9/1 and that is for a 2-1 win. A 2-1 scoreline is also the lowest odds for a Posh win at 8/1.

The current favourite prediction in the poll being run by Vital Posh is a 2-1 win for Bristol City.

Britt Assombalonga is yet again the favourite to score the first goal at 5/1 while he is 11/8 to score at anytime during the match. Tyrone Barnett and Lee Tomlin are the joint second favourite Posh player to score the first goal of the game! They are priced at 6/1 while Jaanai Gordon [pictured below], is priced at 7/1 to score the first goal!

The man Posh fans love to hate, Sam Baldock, is the favourite City player to score the first goal at odds of 11/2 with odds of 6/4 for him to score at any time during the match. Jay Emmanuel-Thomas is second favourite priced at 6/1 with Marlon Harewood next at 7/1.
