The next position has been decided to find out which players were best in what position for Posh in the 2011/12 season. The left-back position has been decided and the winner was…

14. Tommy Rowe

Tommy started off the season on the left side of midfield while various other players, both permanent and loanees, tried the left-back position. However, as the season progressed, it became more and more apparent that the best player we had for that position was Tommy Rowe.

Rowe often filled in at left-back during games as Fergie shuffled his pack looking for that win or a draw but it was until the latter stages of the season that Rowe started more and more games in the left-back position. It often seemed his best games were when he was at left-back with George Boyd in left midfield as the two of them seem to have an understanding.

Rowe played in almost every League game last season as he missed just three games.

It looks like Rowe will make the left-back position his own next season after Fergie Jnr confirmed he wasn`t looking to bring in a left back.

The team now looks like:

The next position poll is now up and running with the results announced on Friday, 13th July, 2012.
