What do you think the score will be in the Sky Bet EFL League One match between Peterborough United and Blackburn Rovers on Saturday?

Peterborough United v Blackburn Rovers
Location: ABAX Stadium
Date: Saturday, 9th December, 2017
Kick-off: 15:00pm

Posh get back to League action after drawing against non-league Woking in the FA Cup and beating Southend United in the Checkatrade Trophy; both of which were second round matches.

The visitors to the ABAX Stadium on Saturday are one of the founding members of The Football League and who won the Premier League in 1995. Recent seasons have seen them struggle though and after being relegated from the Premier League in 2012, exactly five years to the day, they suffered another relegation to League One.

After an indifferent start to the League One campaign, Rovers seem to be back on track and are currently in fourth place while Posh have suffered the exact opposite. After an excellent start to the season which saw them reach the summit of League One, their form has dipped massively and although they are in seventh place, they are six points behind sixth place!

At home, Posh have won 60% of their 10 League matches this season with supporters not yet witnessing a League draw at the ABAX. Some of those victories were impressive as they beat Wigan Athletic 3-2 and also inflicted the first defeat of the season on surprise package Shrewsbury Town. However, they have suffered disappointing defeats as well as they`ve gone down to Gillingham, Blackpool and Oxford United.

Rovers have also won six out of their ten away League matches while drawing two others. The only defeats on the road came on the opening day of the season at Southend United and at a rejuvenated Oldham Athletic.

In the League, Posh and Rovers have faced each other on just four occasions! The last time was in the 2012/13 Championship season when both sides won away from home! A Jordan Rhodes hat-trick helped Rovers to a 4-1 win at London Road with Lee Tomlin getting a consolation goal two minutes from time. The reverse fixture saw Posh gain revenge with a hard-fought 3-2 victory at Ewood Park. This time it was Dwight Gayle who struck a first-half hat-trick.

Will the honours go to the visitors again or will Posh pick up their fourth win in five League matches against Rovers?
