What do you think the score will be in the Sky Bet EFL League One match between Peterborough United and Wigan Athletic on Saturday?

Peterborough United v Wigan Athletic
Location: ABAX Stadium
Date: Saturday, 23rd September, 2017
Kick-off: 15:00pm

It`s third hosting second in League One on Saturday as former Premier League side Wigan Athletic head to the ABAX Stadium.

Both sides have lost just once in the League this season while Posh have drawn two compared to the Latics one draw.

Posh were scoring for fun at the start of the season but have slowed down on that front but they`ve still scored twice as many goals as they have conceded. The Latics have a very impressive record though having scored one goal fewer than the 16 Posh have scored but have only conceded three goals in their eight League matches!

At home, Posh have won three and lost one of their four League matches this season with that sole defeat coming at the hands of Bradford City (1-3) in a rain soaked ABAX Stadium. The three victories have come against Plymouth Argyle (2-1), Rotherham United (2-1) and Milton Keynes Dons (2-0) who were the last visitors to Posh.

The Latics also have a 3-0-1 record away from home with their only defeat coming at shock leaders Shrewsbury Town (1-0). They bounced straight back from that defeat, just like Posh did, to win their next game which ended in an impressive three-nil victory at Charlton Athletic. Their other two wins were at MK Dons (0-1) and Oldham Athletic (0-2).

The last time these sides met was in the 2015/2016 season when the Latics picked up four of the six points on offer as they beat Posh at the ABAX 3-2 in the October of that season before drawing one-all in March 2016. Will Grigg scored a goal in both matches.
