Thankfully, Posh are holding out for a decent, and fair, price for Aaron Mclean.

The striker who saw a transfer request granted earlier this week will not be allowed to leave London Road for less than £3 million.

A decent price for a decent striker we feel.

However, Mclean appears to have a suitor already with Coventry City looking at the possibility of snapping up Aaron (and his strike partner Craig Mackail-Smith) with Barry Fry remarking to the local media,

‘Coventry told me straight after our game there on Saturday that they wanted to sign Aaron and Craig in January so I told them our asking price.”

‘They are going to discuss it at a board meeting and get back to me, but believe me there isn’t enough money in Coventry to get either of them.”

‘We are not interested in selling Craig anyway. If we were we would be more likely to sell him to a Premier League club because there has been a bit of interest.”

Come on Barry, reveal all, who are the Premier League clubs sniffing around Craig?
