Posh – Was That Us?

There`s an interesting little snippet hidden away in the Football pull-out section of the Sunday People.

Right at the bottom of the Confidential column penned by Tom Hopkinson there`s a paragraph that got me thinking.

It implies that a manager of a football league team was unable to offer his team any advice at half time, after they were several goals to the bad, because the aforementioned manager had himself been called to the chairman`s office to explain why his side were doing so badly and how matters were going to be turned around. The said team then somehow ground out a draw!

Could they possibly be talking about Posh against Cardiff?

Please tell me they were not!
