After not quite cutting the mustard during his loan spell at Queens Park Rangers, Posh full back Tommy Williams could be angling for a stay at London Road.

The full back, who played his first game under Mark Cooper, against Spurs in the FA Cup defeat, has been talking to BBC Radio Cambridgeshire about a possible new deal with Posh and has commented,

“I`ve never fallen out with anybody here and I love the club, I`ve been back here four times.”

“If I was offered something that was suitable, I would definitely sign.”

“I`m keeping my options open because I`ve got one little boy who`s about to start school and another child on the way.”

The burning question is though – should we keep Tommy Williams or should we be looking for someone new?

If I’m honest he had an inconsistent spell at Loftus Road, and in such a period of transition we’re looking to cut costs and he was an easy target. He said some pretty damning things when he left how he was looking to impress us etc etc.
