Striker Emile Sinclair has been told he can leave Peterborough United!

Posh only signed Sinclair in August from Macclesfield Town signing a three-year contract.

He made an excellent home debut scoring twice against Burnley but he has since failed to impress both fans and management at the club.

He is only one goal short of top scorers Grant McCann and Paul Taylor but he has dropped down the pecking order recently seeing both Paul Taylor and David Ball start ahead of him. Posh have also recently signed Tyrone Barnett from Crawley Town for £1.1 million.

Posh boss Darren Ferguson recently admitted he needs to trim the Posh strike force that currently numbers 6 players, with Sinclair looking likely to leave the club on loan by the end of the week. Any loan move would be with a view to a permanent deal in the summer.

Blackpool were interested in Sinclair before he originally signed for Posh and they may well still be interested in him. A number of other Championship teams are also believed to be interested in the speedy striker including strugglers Coventry City.

League One sides Sheffield Wednesday and Notts County are also believed to be interested in Sinclair.
