Rate the Peterborough United players in the Vital Posh Man of the Match Poll for the Sky Bet League One match against Bristol Rovers which is now up and running.
Posh started off this match very well, creating numerous chances and playing neat football to boot. Sadly, it lacked an end product or a killer final ball which proved costly.
Rovers took the lead after youngster Lewis Freestone went missing with Andrew Hughes coming across to cover but was penalised. The resulting freekick saw a scramble in the box and with Freestone ball watching, the man he was meant to be marking blasted the ball past Conor O`Malley who stood no chance. That goal was Rovers one and only shot on target during the match!
Posh were level less than five minutes later when some more neat play saw Maddison deliver a delightful cross which fell to Danny Lloyd who had the easiest of chances to knock in the equaliser.
The draw was enough to see Posh move back into the play-off positions level on points with Plymouth Argyle who went down two-nil at Charlton Athletic. Rovers remained in 11th place, six points away from the play-offs.
